The Antiquities and Monuments Office (‘AMO’) of the Development Bureau and Art Exhibitions China present the ‘Inseparable Ties: Cohesion as Told by Hong Kong Historic Buildings’ photo exhibition, which is curated based on the same exhibition held at the Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre in 2022 by the AMO.
Featuring four major themes: ‘Nurturing Talent to Serve the Nation’, ‘Unity and Interconnection’, ‘Resistance and Salvation during Japanese Aggression’ and ‘Helping Each Other through Thick and Thin’, the exhibition unfolds the cultural activities of the scholars who moved to Hong Kong after the 1911 Revolution, the resistance against Japanese Aggression and the Secret Rescue Operation, the continued charitable and financial support from the local institutions to the Chinese Mainland, and the indivisible transportation network between Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland, etc.
